Chef Jonil is a Massachusetts-based chef with a big heart! A person of afro-Caribbean descent that loves to cook for anyone who is willing to eat and learn. He was raised between New York and Miami, where he discovered his love for entertaining and feeding others. His company, Flavors of your Palate is on a mission to change the world, one flavor at a time! Given his academic background in the human services field, he is passionate about building community through the power of food. ​ Why Caribbean Fusion cuisine? He loves this cuisine because it emcompasses who he is, a multicultural person that loves to create dishes with a variety of international ingredients and spices. In addition to his love for the culinary arts, chef Jonil enjoys tattoos, murals, and multicultural art. He considers the plate his canvas and the kitchen his studio, and he feels the best version of himself comes through when he creates dishes without limitations. He also relishes in playing with colors, ingredients, and aromas because, he says, "I can visualize myself in the country of origin."
