The following is information provided on mph club® rental policies and guidelines in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and throughout Florida. AGE REQUIREMENTS: mph club® requires anyone driving the rented vehicle to be 25 years of age with a clean driving record. You must have no DUI convictions, major moving violations, or similar infractions or this will prohibit you from renting with us. INSURANCE INFORMATION: Drivers renting with mph club are required to have their own individual auto insurance that is active and contains full-coverage. mph club® will make sure to verify with the drivers insurers that coverage is provided for the vehicle they have chosen to rent. INTERNATIONAL RENTERS: International visitors must provide a valid passport and driver’s licence from their home country. Mph club® can provide insurance coverage for those international visitors for a minimum of two days. A higher security deposit may be required if an insurance policy is not in effect. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A damage deposit is required in order to rent a vehicle. Damage deposits range from $5,000 – $12,000 also depend on the vehicle being rented and the drivers insurance information. We accept all major credit cards. A seven day advance period is required for damage deposits paid by check or cashiers check. We also accept a cash retainer to be applied to the damage deposit that will be returned at the end of your rental cycle. The damage/security deposit is fully refunded to you upon the cars return with no damage to the the rented vehicle. If a vehicle is returned damaged, we charge the cost of the damage against the damage/security deposit. CANCELLATION POLICY Once you have mph club® reserve the vehicle you have selected, it then becomes unavailable to other clients. This is to ensure that you get the vehicle you requested on the time and date you requested it. This means regardless of any changes the vehicle cannot be rented out to another client during that time frame, therefore the following applies: If you reschedule, cancel, or do not show up for your reservation more than 7 days before hand you will be charged $500 or 50% (whichever is greater) of the total rental cost as a cancellation fee. This charge can be used as a credit towards future rentals with mph club®. If you reschedule, cancel, or do not show up for your reservation less than 7 days before hand you will be charged 100% of the total rental cost as a cancellation fee. It is at our discretion whether or not this can be used as a credit towards future rentals with mph club®.
